In this release, you gain meaningful improvements that simplify scheduling, strengthen security, and expand online appointment capabilities, all while keeping your workflows familiar and efficient.
Smarter online meetings and calendar integrations
You can now manage online appointments with much greater ease. Easy!Appointments introduces Jitsi integration that generates meeting links automatically for appointments booked through the public page. You also get a dedicated meeting link field on appointments, which lets you store and display any video conference location clearly.
Google Calendar syncing improves significantly. You can access a new integration section, enable Google Meet link support during synchronization, and hide the Add to Google Calendar button from the booking confirmation page when you want a simpler user experience. Providers can also enable or disable syncing themselves, which helps you manage larger teams more efficiently.
You can learn more about Jitsi at https://jitsi.org and explore Google Meet at https://workspace.google.com/products/meet/.

Better booking flow and clearer feedback
The booking process now protects availability more reliably. When someone books through the calendar, the system rechecks provider availability before saving the appointment. If no services or providers are available for the public page, the system shows an informative message instead of an unusable booking form.
You can also use Select All and Select None buttons in multi-checkbox fields, which saves time during configuration. Custom fields now appear directly in the appointment details popup, so you always see complete information while managing bookings.
Customers can save their personal details in local storage, which speeds up future bookings without storing unnecessary data on the server.
Stronger security and privacy by default
Security improvements play a major role in 1.6. Every request now validates the request method and accepts only allowed methods. CAPTCHA support protects all public forms from abusive traffic, and you can choose ALTCHA as an alternative CAPTCHA solution.
Password reset now works through secure link delivery instead of immediate password changes. You also benefit from additional GDPR enhancements, legal notice and imprint links on the booking page, and multiple backend security optimizations throughout the application.

Cleaner administration and improved settings
The backend interface feels more structured and efficient. The main CRUD layout now prioritizes list views, which speeds up navigation. Backend users no longer need to provide a phone number, availability handling uses a clearer slot interval model, and language settings respond more reliably to GET parameters.

You can define working plan exceptions across multiple dates, validate working plans before saving, and control when customer notifications are sent so updates do not trigger unnecessary messages.
The About page now displays RSS updates from the official blog, which helps you stay informed inside the app. You can also assign providers directly to services from the services page with clearer labeling.
Fixes and cleanups you will notice
This release resolves time zone issues when providers change, improves CalDAV compatibility, optimizes booking-related queries, and prevents session bloat through better garbage collection. We also removed obsolete files such as patch.php to keep the codebase clean and maintainable.
